As Friends of the Stony Stratford Library, we aim to encourage as many events as possible to take place in the building. We want to animate the library as a cultural and educational venue for the community of Stony Stratford and beyond.

To help achieve this, we organise a number of talks during the year. These take place in the evening and include refreshment and networking. Forthcoming talks include:

September: Tom Paine

November: A talk about Plato's Republic

December: Lynette Hill, the Bard of Stony Stratford

January: A talk by Catherine Hampton as part of StonyWords 2024.

Please contact Kathy Luff (FOSSL Secretary) or library staff for more details about the talks and about how to get tickets.

You can find more details about our partners and their work on the Activities page of the site.
